Call for Special Sessions

The conference is planned to include, in addition to regular sessions, a number of Special Sessions, devoted to various issues covered by the scope of the conference. The conference organizing committee therefore invites proposals for special sessions. The duties of the Special Session organizers are as follows:

  1. To prepare the Call for Papers and return it to the Special Session Chair, Prof. P. Pejovic ( by the deadline, 20 October 2011.
  2. If the Special Session is approved for inclusion in the conference, to solicit papers for the special session and ensure that a minimum of six (6) papers is submitted to the special session by the paper submission deadline. Special sessions that, after the review process, end up with less than five accepted papers will not be scheduled and accepted papers will be transferred to the regular program.
  3. To register for the conference and Chair the special session at the conference.

Please note that Special Session organizers(s) will not handle the review process. For review purposes all special session papers will be assigned to an appropriate conference topic and the review process will be handled by the Topic Co-Chairs, in the same manner as for regular papers. Please also note that SS organizers will be expected to register for the conference in the normal way and that no reduced registration fee will be offered.

Approved special session will be listed in the ‘Authors’ area of the web-site.
