Dr. Vlatko Vlatković, Chief Engineering Officer of GE Power Conversion, USA/France

Vlatko Vlatković is the Chief Engineering Officer of the GE Power Conversion business. he is responsible for fulfillment and new technology development in all areas of high power conversion systems, power electronics and electric machines. Before joining GE Power Conversion, Vlatko held a number of engineering and technology leadership positions across GE Energy business and with the GE’s Global Research Center. He helped architect GE’s reentry into the power conversion business.

Vlatko holds Ph.D. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech and Dipl. Ing. degree from University of Novi Sad. He’s won numerous awards including the prestigious IEEE Power Electronics Society Outstanding Young Power Electronics Engineer Award. He holds 13 US patents.
